This is a small beach with a combination of rocks and sand. Not as pretty as many of the other beaches we visited. It was very busy on the Sunday morning when we visited.
Parking was very limited.

Long strecth of sand at this coast offers many places to install yourself and enjoy any activity. It is great for water sports and therefore has lots of guests. Surrouded by cliffs but the bay has shallow water. Bars at both ends of the beach and it has parking lots.

spiaggia di portixeddu, located on the islands sant´antioco estcoast a little bit in the north of maladroxia is a beautiful white stoney beach with crytalclear water, which shines in every shade of blue. we came there during the week in the afternoon and only a few peolple were arround. so we had a good possibility to let dangle our souls and time for reading a book. for the whole afternoon the mood was relaxed and quiet. there are no natural shadow zones and it is neccessary to have parasol and sunprotection same as food and drinks in the beach luggage, because there is no beachbar for buy something. also a toilette we didn´t found.
the spiaggia delle vasche slopes gently into the sea and its a nice place for families with small children. for a walk on the beach it is neccessary to wear watershoes, but the basis of the sea is sandy and makes the access to the water easy.
we can recomment spiaggia delle vasche very much. a perfect place to spend a lazy sunny afternoon in tranquillity.
