Nice horses, small group
Tourguide takes care of each individual skill level .
We were riding 1 hour cross country in Iceland's unique landscape, vulcanic sand, small rivers.
Highly recommended !

I did a 1-hour horse ride with my two children aged 8 and 11, who has no previous experience with horse riding. We all really enjoyed the this family run business and thought that they were very welcoming. The trip offered beautiful views of Hekla and other vulcanoes in the background. I would recommend this place for adults and children with no previous experience.

We had a lovely two-hour ride through the countryside on the most amiable horses I've ever met. Our group was beginner level, and the guides went at just the right pace. The whole rid except for about 3 minutes was out in the country, not alongside roads. I'm so happy we selected this ride out of so many options in the Hella area. Highly recommended.

Had an amazing time riding the Icelandic ponies, especially experiencing their unique gait while looking out at several volcanoes. Wish we had done the 2 hour ride but we were low on time during our time in Iceland. Amazing guide (10am 12th September)

Great experience. Highly recommend if you are looking for a fun relaxing time with horses and amazing views. Plus the guide was friendly and caring of our safety. I give it a 10 out 10!!! (You don’t have to have previous horseback riding experience)

The tours are worth the money and are a lot of fun. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced rider, there is something for everyone. The people are very nice and the horses are really funny. You ride through rivers, forests and across meadows. It's worth it and everything is included from step to gallop. I will definitely come back and ride here again.

I had a great little ride with „Margrethe“ over the lupine meadows today. One of the beautiful and gentle horses at Hella Horses. Tölting was awesome! The Icelandic owner was well-prepared and definitely chose the right horse for me. He told us a lot about the horses and the region. We can only recommend Hella Horses. My boyfriend was allowed to follow us by bike. A day to remember.

We had such a great time, beautiful landscape and very nice owner. We booked the tour the day before online and we were just the 3 of us (1 adult, 2 teenagers), we all loved the experience!

We’ve had a lovely time! Super nice staff, friendly and nosy horses!
Luckily we got a lot of time meeting the horses in advance, since we had a horse newbie with us. He could get to make contact with the gentle and nosy islanders.
A mountainbike was provided for our Dad who didn’t want to be riding , so he could come along. Very considerate!
The trip was very chilled, taking in aspect that we’ve had our beginner with us. We had a perfect scenic view and enjoyed riding in a beautiful landscape.
Would come back for sure ne can recommend highly!

I booked a tour for my disabled daughter and her brother. Hella Horses was very flexible and sensitive to my daughter's special needs. We all had a very great experience.
