It was a bit of a climb, but we saw people in their 80s climbing, and even saw a few doing the climb on BICYCLES!!! A few brave souls didn't even drive cars to the 1600 meter starting point before climbing to 2100 meters!.....rode their bikes all the way (NUTS!!!). The views are amazing! So glad we did the climb! Can't say I was wow'd by the monument at the top (Granattor), but the view and sense of accomplishment were worth it!…

It's a must see if you around Millstatter See. In nice weather the view from the top and all way up is wonderful. After you park your car at Lammerdorfer hutte it's a nice walk.

Above Obermillstat is a road to Granattor. Entrance has to be paid 5 euro. Road is a it narrow, but still not a big problem to reach GesteHause at the end of the road. To reach the Granattor we had to walk 1.5 hours. Take care to take some jacket, on the peak can be cool. All the way views are breathtaking. This is really must do if you soend some time in Millstat.…

A most wonderful walk to the top of the mountain to enjoy the Granattor and the views down to Millstatt lake. If you are lucky to have good weather, then it is an awesome experience.
