The Space Needle has been around a while (and looks it). The ride up is easy enough. The view is astounding. We went just before sunset. I would not recommend for small children. There are not, in my humble opinion, adequate safeguards in place. Some...More

Inexpensive and worth the money to ride up and see the scenic view of Gatlinburg. No wait while we were there around lunch time. Not crowded on the observation deck either. Not sure how 20 people could come close to fitting in the elevator, it...More

Great 360 views of Gatlinburg and the mountains. The elevator is a little slow and I don’t like heights so that was a little scary but once your up there the view was well worth it. If your over 60 ask for the senior discount

This was on my 11-year old MUST DO list. We arrived and were first visitors of the day. The views were great. Gift shop TINY -- not even any statues of the space needle!! That was disappointing. Since you are able to visit twice in...More

I would highly recommend any couple or even a group of friends to purchase the VIP treatment from online, it’s only available online. For a reasonable price, two people get two trips up to the top, I went in the day time and night time,...More

The needle and elevator looks a little run down, (the view going up on the elevator is obscured by the outdoor emergency stairway). You have to enter Acardia to purchase tickets. Once you are up on top the sights are stunning. Looking though the viewfinders...More

I would say yes, after you reach the top you can stay on the platform , or sit in the benches and enjoy it. You see both ways on the main street of Gatlinburg.

i think it was like $10 for adults and $6 for kids. You get to return once for free within 24 hours of your first ride to the top so you can go up once at night and once during the day.
