Oh what a spectacular view of Gatlinburg. Thought it might be blah because of the rainy and cloudy weather from Florence. Wrong on my part. What a spectacular look into a well preserved gateway into the Great Smoky Mtns area.

I have been in Gatlinburg several times and always enjoy the view from the overlook. Was good to see the area recovering from the previous fire.

Just so beautiful and serene. Peaceful, you just feel at ease. Could have spent all day there just taking in the scenery.

Follow the bypass around Galinburg to get to this overlook. See how the town fits into the countryside and really, "see" the Smoky Mountains on the horizon.
