Stopped on a morning jog on the Gatlinburg Trail early in the morning and could imagine life in Gatlinburg's first log cabin moved here for our education.

Was only in there a few short minutes, but the docent was full of and the period piecesand photos are most educational. Take a few minutes and learn the history of the area.

Ogle cabin and barn were interesting as historical sites but not necessarily something to be seen over and over. However, the nature trails around the plat and the waterfalls and creek/river access changes every time you go. I always see something new or different and...More

We stopped by this little house and it was really interesting. The lady volunteering was very nice and she had lots of facts about the house and family.

I love learning about the past and the people who forged their way West. It is very interesting to walk among the buildings still standing and read their story. Be sure ro pay the 50 cents for the pamphlet.

Great place to see history of one of the original families in Gatlinburg. It is really quick to see, but it was a nice stop.

It seems there is some confusion about this cabin and another which is on the way to the motor nature trail. This is Martha ogle's and the homestead near the motor nature tail is Bud Ogle's. We seldom stroll around this end of town so...More
