You will need to be with one of the tour groups to enter this area. We went with Dixie Ellis tour and was quite happy with them. Group of 8 to 9 people. The guide was helpful with the photos!

Highly suggested visit the lower Canyon as the tourists facility including parking and resting are much better. The scenery inside the canyon is also more variable although you need climb up and down.

Words cannot explain it. YOU MUST COME AND SEE WITH YOUR OWN EYES! I seen many folks posting pictures of this beautiful canyon on social media and finally seeing in person. Highly recommend doing the tour and booking in advance.

You must take a tour company which will ensure you pay Navajo tax with your tour. Access is restricted and security is very strict to keep small individual groups together and avoid accidents.
