If it wasn't for the sheer number of people they put in the canyon at one time it would have been a spectacular experience. Way to many people stacked on top of each but we still enjoyed seeing the canyon. Hopefully they will cut those...More
The Rock formations are unique at this place - with the light beams PERFECT.
- Totally overpriced - nothing special is offered: a trip at a 4X4 vehicle; comments from the guides are pointless (telling you what they see in the rock formation .......More
My husband and I recently toured the Lower Antelope Canyon with Ken's Tours and had a wonderful time! As we started the tour, it was actually sprinkling on us and was very overcast so I was afraid we would not be able to get the...More
Shame on the businesses that show this once beautiful, dramatic natural wonder to the public. I was lucky enough to see this slot canyon years before social media brought it to the attention of thousands of curious people. Upon my first visit 6 years ago,...More
You have to use a tour company to access lower canyon, I would recommend Ken’s Tours. Free parking that is quite large with a nice outpost with food and gifts.

This is a narrow slot canyon that has some of the most beautiful and unique formations I've ever seen. I couldn't quite believe that the WHOLE canyon looked just like all those pictures! Because it is on Navajo land, you pay an entrance fee (with...More
Lower antelope canyon felt like a bit of a circus at first with a long line to get in and SO MANY PEOPLE. However, it is all worth it for the stunning views of the canyon. I found it to be quite different from upper...More
With Bryce, Zion and the Grand Canyon on my itinerary, it's hard to believe that I liked the Lower Antelope Canyon the best. Beautiful any time of day, the lighting was spectacular at 10 am. Make this a part of your trip.
Lower Antelope Canyon is amazing! Absolutely worth the money to tour with Ken’s Tours. It’s steep stairs in to the canyon and then an easy walk from there. We preferred it over Upper Antelope Canyon because it was less crowded, a longer hike, and more...More

You cannot enter lower antelope canyon without a Navajo guide. There’s 2 Tour company ran by Navajo by the entrance and it cost $50 per person. You can book online or there’s a waiting area for tours. Tours go every 30 mins. We didn’t book online but we waited about 5 mins. If you go in May it might not be crowded yet since kids are still in school.
