About
Savannah's oldest haunted pub tour! The Creepy Crawl departs nightly from the Six Pence Pub, centrally located in the beautiful Historic District. Our tour runs about two hours and covers up to a mile and a half of sometimes-uneven walkways on foot. You will hear ghost stories at a variety of locations around the city and have the chance to grab to-go beverages at up to 4 fun local bars (though we are currently not able to visit all of our favorites due to Covid-19 related closures. We still have plenty of creepy tales to share, though!). Drinks ARE NOT included in ticket price. You MUST have valid photo ID to participate. Each guest will receive a souvenir to-go cup koozie featuring artwork from a local illustrator. We reserve the right to remove anyone from the tour if they are overly intoxicated or disruptive. Private bookings available on request!

Had a great time on the Pub Crawl. Learned a lot of the history of Savannah and it was very entertaining!

We were very disappointed. I think I bought tickets from the wrong tour company. Pamela (not Pam or Pammy as she was very clear to point out) started the tour by making it clear that she doesn't work more than 2 hours, so we could go into a pub and take our time, but when her two hours were up she was done. This is not the experience I was expecting when I choose this tour and definitely not the southern hospitality I have previously enjoyed in Savannah. Some members of our group left the tour because of the way Pamela (not Pam or Pammy) treated the group. She was kind enough to take a picture of the group with someone's phone at the cemetery, but when another person gave her their phone she yelled at us to get off the steps because we already had taken a picture. Someone in the group tried to show her an image they captured on a previous tour and Pamela said she wasn't interested in looking at it because the person didn't pay attention to her last story. The stories were very long, so I can see how a person would stop listening. At the end of the tour Pamela left the group on the sidewalk. I didn't witness this because I had already left the tour because I didn't pay to be talked to so rudely. The members of the tour enjoyed each other much more than the tour itself. Many of us spoke about how we couldn't believe how we were being treated. Next time I am in Savannah I will be much more careful about choosing a tour like this.

Very nice lady, but was unable to keep the groups attention and stayed on the same subject for far too long. It was actually no fun at all, and unfortunately many of the group lost interest and decided to not stay for the entire tour.

We were expected a haunted pub crawl and were given a museum tour. Our energy was for drinks and ghost stories and we were given teacher vibes and sent to the principal's office. The tour guide was great but not what we wanted so we were very disappointed.

Our tour guide was the BEST! We enjoyed her stories, personality and knowledge of the history and ghost tales of Savannah! And had some good laughs. I think this tour was our favorite thing we did this weekend!!

I’m sure this tour isn’t bad but ours was because of our tour guide. A tour guide makes the tour and unfortunately, we had Pearce. He arrived clearly already intoxicated at the start of the tour. Throughout the tour, he hardly told any ghost stories but made it a point to discuss his law degree and other facts that didn’t pertain to the tour. I love learning about historical facts but he would spend more time talking about the oak trees than he would about giving us ghost story content. He also said a comment about “if he were to hang someone, this wouldn’t be the tree he’d choose” which felt a little insensitive. Later on in the night, he was encouraging our group to break into the cemetery. I’ve done three other ghost tours in Savannah in the past and would highly recommend doing any other tour over this one. Like I said, I’m sure the tour is good but if you risk getting Pearce as your guide, it’ll be an awful tour for you. Our group actually ended up sneaking away 20 minutes early because it was so bad. I would like to give someone the benefit of the doubt but I went and looked at reviews after our tour and the only negative reviews are based around our tour guide. That should tell the company that something needs to be improved there.

I'm truly so sorry to hear you didn't have the experience you sought. We seek to entertain and satisfy. But, since you mentioned your guide by name and accused him of being drunk at work on a public platform, I need to respond fully. My guides do drink in moderation on tours, when they feel like it. Prospective guests, if you do not wish for your guide to potentially have a drink or two on tour, indeed--heed this reviewer's warning. My tour guides each express themselves differently, because we are all humans with varying behavioral quirks. Sometimes these quirks can be misconstrued. I do not let my guides show up to work plastered. Pierce regularly receives glowing reviews, and I've recently had several previous guests call to book with him again because they enjoyed his unique delivery and joking persona. That does not invalidate your bad experience, at all, reviewer, nor that of other unhappy reviewers lately--we are still apologetic about missing the mark and will endeavor to refine our content further. But I feel like I must take this opportunity to defend this person I know, who does good work for me and gets us repeat business. Since you bring this up in your review: myself and all my guides receive equitable mixtures of good and bad feedback. Other guides have gotten some stinkers lately, too. About 12,000 guests take our tours every year, and only a handful leave reviews. Usually the ones that were unhappy do so, understandably. Our tours are history-focused, unscripted, and people sometimes drink a lot on them. We don't please every guest perfectly, that's true. Future guests: contact me directly at the number provided upon booking if you find fault with our product. If you leave the tour early because you hated it--just shoot me a text immediately, or send a message through TripAdvisor/Viator's platform. Myself and my guides are real people, and it's hurtful to post accusatory statements with names included. I'm sorry to write a philosophical essay, and I'm even sorrier you didn't like the Creepy Crawl experience. But I felt your thorough and pointed comments warranted an equivalent and nuanced response. -2+ hours- didn't happen (hour and 15 minutes/tops)
-Scary stories- never told. I mean NOTHING.
-Tried small talk/conversing with guide- cut me off/rude.
-Felt rushed (other friendly couples on tour said same afterwards at local bar)
I went here on a friends recommendation- I did not get her experience nor her guide- which I suspect was the main issue. With the hundred other tours out there- I recommend going elsewhere.

We typically go 2+ hours on our tours, and everyone who gives the Creepy Crawl, to the best of my knowledge, is usually courteous and conversational. What a fun way to get to know Savannah! Our guide took us to 4 pubs we probably wouldn't have found on our own, and shared so many creepy stories about Historic Savannah with us. Fun night!

We’re coming to Savannah in May for a girls reunion., we’re in our 50’s. Wondering if it’s better to do dinner first and then the 8:00 pm creepy Pub Crawl or the 5:00 pm pub crawl and then dinner. 8:00pm crawl will end up in the dark but 5:00pm crawl could be less crowded. What would you recommend?

Dinner then the pub crawl. It was a great way to end our night. If you do decide to drink at each location you may not want to eat afterwards.

I believe the early tour is. This tour is around 2 hrs. And that way, you can still see the point of interest on what the guide is talking about and a great way to see the sights. Of course, due to the summer heat, late would be better, that way it cools down some. Hope this helps.

Hello, We don't take minors on our Creepy Crawl,some of the bars won't let anyone under 21 in plus people are having drinks and you never know how someone with a few drinks in them may act.

The Six Pence Pub is on the corner of Liberty Street and Bull.
We stayed at the Marriot Courtyard on Liberty street and MLK which was only about 4 blocks from from the Six Pence and was only about a 6 block walk back from the Moon River Brewery on Bay Street, where the tour ended.
