We enjoyed that you can go through each room at your leisure and watch the video that covers the room your in and the history behind President Lincoln's visit! Also a quaint area of town for shops and food.

My husband and I spent several days in Gettysburg and this home was a highlight! It's a home, a museum, a carefully crafted story about it's most famous visitor, President Abraham Lincoln. I was grateful there was not a tour guide, because we could linger...More

I've always wanted to see what was in this house, but didn't get to until 2018 and mostly because it was advertised as free in something I got at the visitors center. It was self guided, ALOT of signs to read. There was a short...More

The free exhibit will take about 30 minutes but well worth the time. Conveniently located right in the town square.

This is a small museum, but very interesting. Part of the National Park Service, you check in at the desk, and tour on your own. There is a guide available to speak with and ask questions. There are benches and a repeating video to watch....More

It was great to take this free, shorter tour of the Willis house to see where Abe Lincoln slept and prepared to give the Gettysburg Address. Its worth to stop by.

This place was very educational. We loved it here. Good ol Abe wrote the rest of his famous speech while residing here.

If you really want to read, see, and listen to everything the museum has to offer, I would say 11/2 to 2 hours.
