Perfect for history lovers, this tour of the historical Basilica of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral in Lower Manhattan invites you into the catacombs, allowing you to see its pipe organ and venture to parts of the building that are normally closed to visitors. Beat the crowds on this tour and enjoy a personal encounter with this New York landmark.

I saw this place on the Netflix show Somebody Feed Phil, when I did I knew I had to do it while I was in New York City. My husband and I enjoyed walking it to Hudson Yard. It was cool to see the architecture of the buildings that surround it and the train tracks still visible on the walk. It was so cool to read the history of it as well. I am so glad that we had this experience.

Wanted to walk the lines as recommended by family to do so. Unfortunately taking a stroll through new York with your pet inhibits you from visiting this location. We were escorted back down the stairs quick smart. Such a shame. My dog is tiny could have carried him. Won't be seeing this then.

The elevation was given such hype, we almost fell for it. The marketing consultant must have taken home more money than the project itself given the hype. There is nothing grand or good about this.

I took a walk on the High Line. There are old train tracks and gardens on the sides of this elevated walkway. This walkway is free and it basically parallels Tenth (10th) Avenue from the lower streets of the thirties (30’s) to the start of Lower Manhattan. It was not super crowded when I took my walk for about 1.5 miles on a sunny but cool March Monday.
