What Makes It Special
From its inception, Macy's Herald Square was a store unlike any other. Over the past 150 years, it has become a true New York City icon. Built in 1902, Macy's Herald Square was the first building to have the modern-day escalator, and it has continued to be a trendsetter. Today, "America's Largest Department Store" covers an entire city block with 11 levels of the latest fashions for you and your home. Macy's offers a full-service Visitor Center on the Mezzanine Level, plus restaurants throughout the store and exciting events almost every day.

Huge, elegant shop. Hard to find specific things but interesting to browse. You could spend a lot of time and money here.

Macy's is a great department store. This one has 6 floors. As well as loads of fashion brands for men and women the store hosts restaurants and cafes.

The shop is very big and can be a little hard to find the way around. Lot of expensive luxury brands but even some cheaper ones. When we visited there was some sales going on.

Huge department store, with all the shopping you will need. Most brands available, with good discounts always, most of the time more cheaper than the individual stores in the city. Places to eat in-store, from Pizza and McDonalds, etc. Subway station is just outside. Free...More
