This is one of those must stops for people visiting NY specifically to shop. If shopping isn’t your thing, you’ll hate it, don’t let anyone convince you otherwise. It’s also a nice place for a rainy day when you just want to kill time, as...More

You can't call yourself shopping in NYC if you haven't visited Century 21.
There's Fashion Outlets elsewhere but Century 21 is niche place to shop designer stuff.
You got to check the shoes section at the downstairs. They put them by size so you can...More
Excellent values here. The quality of clothes are great. Designer clothes at a fraction of the price.
Tip - inspect the clothing thoroughly in the store. There could be imperfections and mill flaws. Honestly, I've never had any issues with the clothing.

The main one is near the world towers Wall Street area. There is another one in the Lincoln Center region. The downtown one is definitely worth the subway ride. There is no other place like Century 21 for clothes, shoes, etc from top Italian designers to French Connection a cheap line. The store opens at 7:30 am.

I re-read you question so that I might add a bit more information to my response. The fact that you asked if it would be too cold and you also wrote the degree that may be considered cold to You was taken into consideration. Weather and temperatures are relative and subjective. For me 38 degrees is freezing and uncomfortable. For those who are descendants of ice and cold weather people it may be a great day for a walk in the park. But, for sun people and their descendants it is less enjoyable especially and even with being weighed down with cold weather gear. Century 21 is crowded every day that is the worst part of it for me. Perhaps consider getting there when they open on a weekday for a much enjoyable experience where you will not have to wrap up. : )
Where ever you choose to shop I hope it is most enjoyable for you.
