- Pamela GibbDoha, Qatar221 contributionsChristmas Bucket List ActivityOne of the highlights of our NYC Christmas trip! This activity had been on our must do list before booking our NYC trip and it did not disappoint! From entering Radio City to taking our seats the whole venue was full of Christmas magic! As Santa entered the stage at the beginning the magic ramped up and never stopped until the curtain came down! It truly was a Christmas spectacular which will always hold special memories from our time in New York!Visited December 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 28 February 2024
- Brittany BNew York City, New York8 contributionsAbsolute experience for a classic NY ChristmasThis is one of the most incredible shows there is and we watch it every year. I simply adore the costumes and decor, and the Rockettes are out of this world. As a dancer, i have such an appreciation for their talent and without a doubt this show is a must see in my hometown!Visited December 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 3 March 2024
- SuzanneLGGresham, Oregon880 contributionsBetter say than expected!🎄First time to see the Rockettes, we read to arrive an hour early, and I can understand why, ( the crowds, and TRAFFIC). We even stayed n Mid Manhattan, but badly made it on time. Wow the production. It was spectacular. ALL the way though! I wish we didn’t live an the west coast, I would go every year!!! It was worth every dollars we paid! It will get you in the mode for Christmas, 🎅 for sure.Visited December 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 5 March 2024
- Sally JMartinsburg, West Virginia657 contributionsRockettes are AmazingI had been wanting to see this show for years; it was great fun. The venue is an amazing art deco building. You should get there early to look around. The seats were spacious and comfy. I have no idea where they found such enthusiastic, friendly and helpful staff. The show itself is 90 minutes of nonstop entertainment. The stars, of course, are the amazing Rockettes. They are a very talented group of dancers. There were a lot of kids at our show, and they all seemed to love it, too. I am so glad I finally got a chance to see it, and hope to go again.Visited November 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 11 November 2024

We sat right at the top and still had great seats to saw everything. Radio city is grand place to see also.Visited November 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 20 November 2024
- Tracy KChicago, Illinois6 contributionsSpectacular!I've loved the Rockettes ever since I was a little girl and saw them dance in my all-time favorite movie, Annie! I don't know if they'll ever go on tour like they used to, so I decided to YOLO it and fly to NYC for their Christmas Spectacular. This show lives up to its name of being "spectacular" and was the best Christmas season kick-off I've ever had. In addition to the precise and mesmerizing dancers, the entire experience was glittery and joyful. Every employee I encountered was kind and helpful, and I loved the Christmasy details like the "Rudolph's Nose" drink (kiddie cocktail) and huge bucket of chocolate chip cookies at the concession stand. Seeing those kicks, sequins, and Christmas costumes in real life was everything I'd hoped for. If you're in NYC any time between Halloween and the New Year, I'd recommend this show for an unforgettable experience!Visited November 2024Travelled with familyWritten 26 November 2024

The addition of visual effects enhances the experience. The Rockettes continue to amaze with their precision and multiple shows and costume changes. - Phelim Warren3 contributionsOutstanding! Loved it. See it!I was in Manhattan for four nights and time pressures were real enough. But as we both like Christmas and my wife in particular, when we were handed a flier for this show while walking down Times Square, we immediately decided to book it and as I was familiar with the music hall’s rich history and iconic nature, I was delighted to be going to see a show here. Despite the large attendance, entry was smooth and the view was great from the “Orchestra” section where we were seated to the left of the huge stage. Speaking of orchestra, as a musician myself, I was immediately taken by the superb standard of musicianship, the quality of the sound and the acoustics of the venue. The show itself was absolutely brilliant. The choreography was stunning with wonderful routines complementing the aforementioned superb musical score. The talent and polish of the dancers was equally stunning and what I especially loved was the production totally retained and respected the spirit of Christmas that has sadly been eroded too much in too many aspects in recent years. Not here however and that only added to my thorough enjoyment of a memorable ninety minutes. Nobody does shows better than the Americans. This is a must-see show in a must-visit venue. Well done to everyone involved, this is a fantastic show. Thank you, it was one of the highlights of our four night visit to Manhattan.Visited November 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 3 December 2024
- djmesHilton, New York214 contributionsSpectacular!Spectacular is the only word I can come up with that describes the show The Rockettes put on. For 90 minutes there's signing, dancing, light shows, & beautiful sets and decorations. The actors/singers were first class. I had never seen a Rockettes show before and I expected my after-show review to be "pretty neat show" It's much more "pretty neat"! It's all themed around Christmas which adds to the enjoyment. We are so glad we went. Young, old or in between will love it. It deserved the standing O it got at the end. I can see why people make it an annual must see. We will be going back (& bringing the grandchildren) P.S. The staff/ushers were always nearby to help you find your way around & you probably will need them as it's a crush of people. There are snack bars and cocktails are available. Of course there's the "requisite" souvenir stand .Visited November 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 9 December 2024

We came to the Christmas Spectacular during our visit to NYC and what an experience. We booked the tickets from the theatre the day before and went for the $ 120 tickets in row QQ.
We had an excellent view of the whole show and the effects. What a theatre Radio City is, it is iconic and when you walk in you feel the history,
The show was excellent, with something for the whole family. The costumes and Rockettes made the whole experience, the big man in Red also had a major part.
It was like travelling back in time and reminded me of the US shows we used to watch on tv in black and white.
It was an excellent show and well worth the price of the ticket, I don’t really understand some of the negative comments on here, but there is always somebody who’s not happy.
The theatre is fully air conned also with the auditorium kept at a comfortable temperature.
Get there early as there were long queues to get in but it was well organised

What a performance!
It may be a lot of money but it was well worth it. The precision of the dancers is remarkable. It is mesmerising watching them dance - so in time to the millisecond!
We sat in the front row of the balcony and it was a great view. The programme was reasonable priced at $10 which is what they would cost in the UK at a theatre.
Definitely recommend a visit to see them if you get chance!

They can use some instructions on where and how to line up guests up. They ignored all at walking up to get into a line and then just yelled instructions until you get inside. You can not take anything inside, even a water bottle which you will be made to throw away. They do airport style screening and can use some lessons on kids with medical equipment that can not go thru xray machines. Other than that, the show was great. There was no intermission. The concessions could use some help. Everything is prepackaged and so you just grab it all and set it on a scale to pay. The lady that stands there watching you asks for a tip which I think is ridiculous. The ornament that I picked up was nicely boxed. The show is pricey and a bucket list item for us but I do think one and done is it for us.

Show was good, really good actually. But I have to give it such a poor star rating due to their choice of venue and the fact the venue's incompentence of getting crowds in on time for the start of a show meant I ended up missing the first 20 minutes.
The show started at 6pm and, the night we attended, there were still more than 200 people outside the venue at 6pm waiting to pass through the ridiculously slow security lines. And we arrived with plenty of time to spare (>35 mins). People were still walking into the show more than 30 minutes late.

The show definitely gets you in the Christmas spirit. It is a little cheesy. One kid fell asleep. But the reason for 3 stars was because they left the doors to the street open until the show started. You can go in an hour early so we absolutely froze in our seats for an hour. I mean, see you breath froze. We had to wear winter hats, gloves, jackets for the entire 90 minute show because it took so long to warm up it wasn’t worth taking winter clothes off. It ruined the experience to be so cold for the entire time. If they insist on leaving the doors open they need to invest in air curtains. It was so stupid.

Got told to arrive an hour before it was absolutely chaos. Didn't feel comfortable standing in this queue with my 2 children. The show was nothing spectacular for the price we paid I,ve seen better shows with less expense and such hype . It was so hot inside it was uncomfortable. Beautiful venue though.

This performance truly defines the word. The visual effects combined with the live orchestra create an immersive experience. The performers are an exceptionally talented group, each playing a crucial role in the seamless storytelling and transitions between scenes. Stay until the end to witness an amazing live nativity scene!

All bags are checked so pack lightly. It’s best to arrive early to avoid long lines both outside and at the concession stands. Inside, you can purchase cocktails, drinks, snacks, and merchandise. The bathrooms are clean, but there is no intermission, so plan ahead. There is a great view from the second-level terrace and even the third level if you’re looking for more budget-friendly tickets.
I highly recommend this show to anyone visiting New York during the Christmas season. It’s a wonderful way to immerse yourself in the holiday spirit and create lasting memories!

On Dec 25, 2023, I took my adult son to NY from Miami as a Xmas gift to see the Rockettes. I paid a lot of money to seat close to the front. We arrived very early and were seated properly. Once the show started, late arrivals kept coming and the ushers would come and interrupt the view and show by asking for our ticket numbers. After the 3rd time, we were extremely upset. I told them that it was unacceptable and refused to show my seat numbers anymore. This happened over 3 times. After the show, I spoke with managers, which responded that they had to accommodate "everybody".
I called: Calvin Knight, Coordinator, Guest Relations and Accessibility Services, Madison Square Garden Entertainment, Four Pennsylvania Plaza, 4th Fl, New York, NY 10121-0091 O: 212-465-6225 and requested at least a one ticket refund for our inconvenience and interruptions. I explained that they were compensating late arrivals and penalizing the responsible people that arrived early. He replied that it would not be possible. VERY DISSAPOINTED AND DISCOURAGED.

While we enjoyed seeing the 36 dancers in sync and entertaining, we were DISGUSTED by the use of live animals in 2025. So unnecessary and uncreative. In addition to the misuse of live animals, this show is too religious, only catering to the Christian crowd. Other than the 36 dancers, the rest of the show is boring.............never will go to this show again.

Love the Rockettes. We have seen the Christmas Spectacular many times. The last 2 years there have been people allowed to arrive late and also allowed to leave MULTIPLE times during the show and talk continuously throughout the performance. If they are going to continue to charge these kinds of prices they need to enforce the rule of you CANNOT arrive late or leave and come back. It is common theater etiquette!!! Radio City Music Hall needs to do better!!

Yes, the show is appropriate. I was probably 5-ish when I was first taken to Radio City Music Hall.
