Not enough tubes
Aug 2016 • Family
To start, the walk from the parking lot is ridiculous. They offered rental tubes, but as I have been to many parks that provide tubes, as this one does, there would normally be no reason to rent a tube. We they provide them but not even close to enough. The line to get a tube in the shallow lazy river (2.5 ft.) was was too long. We waited 20 minutes and still didn't get one. Then all the other rides didn't have enough tubes to go around so you had to wait again. There are also only about 5 slides, not nearly enough to do.

Not worth the price unless you go more often
Jul 2016 • Family
First, this place is now called Aquatica and is no longer Knott's Soak City. Before you get into the facility prepare to pay $15 for parking. I took my teens here and purchased a day pass @ $44 each. Didn't make much sense as an annual pass w/o parking is the same price- $89 with parking. In general the cost to go for 1 day is a little rediculous. My kids didn't go on much as the lines were so long on every slide- true, it's hot, people want to cool off, I get it but unless you were in the lazy river or the kiddy area there wasn't much relief. Lines to the concessions were long and pretty over priced. Ran out of cold refrigerated water on the day we were there. We obviously chose a bad day so for that it's hard to give a "bad" review. My advice on this place is if you're looking for affordable family fun, a local swimming pool or perhaps the beach is a better idea. If you live in the area and can visit often with the annual pass then you'll get quite the bargain!

Horrible place, way overbooked
Jul 2016 • Family
We prepaid online and show up to find the parking lot blocked. They weren't letting us in but were allowing those with dual passes to drive from the roller coaster park across the street through the underground tunnel. So we walked to find the park was totally packed. Sweaty people bumping one another and very unhappy. Food and water slide lines were horribly long. The manager argued with me when I requested a refund. The wave pool was either off or broken. To top things off the employees who work at the corporate office were combative and also denied me a refund except for the parking. Shame on them. The online pictures show plenty of open chairs and room to frolic in the wave pool but they were not accurate. This place may be in bankruptcy or just poorly managed.

Not worth it.

It's a small water park with few slides and a lazy river. People were desperate for the tubes and many were trying to take our tubes that we rented for $10 each. 2 slices of pizza $20. If you are visiting CA. Don't waste your time, go to the beach.

Wet day out

Decided to go here at the last minute, had difficulty finding the correct parking after driving round in circles we finally found the correct place... Poor signage. Parking was easy and we bought tix online so very seamless,

We rented a cabana which was nice to have a base and a safe to put in our belongings. Rides were fun but they need a few updates, the park seems small and a little run down, but it's a water park so it's always fun. The lines were not to bad, but keep an eye on your flip flops as my son had his taken when we left them at the bottom of the ride, I suppose so many look the same but his were nice ones.

Great service from the cabana girl and the food was normal fried fast food, they could do with having a few healthy choices.

Pleasant Place To Visit

My wife, mother-in-law, and I didn't enter the park; but found plenty of opportunities for souvenirs and food outside of the park.

Be Strategic About When You Go
Aug 2015
We had a great time. The park provides age appropriate entertainment for anyone from 2 to 62 (?). Nice big area for the little kids. However, that the staff err on the side of extreme caution to the point that it makes the wait time ridiculous. We went on a weekday and had to stand in line for a lo-o-o-o-ong time. I cannot imagine going on a weekend or holiday. You could spend your whole day waiting for just a couple rides - while getting scorched - DON"T FORGET YOUR SUNSCREEN!!

nice way to cool off

I haven't been here in a while now, so I don't know if they've added new things, but there was plenty to do when it first opened up! Fun way to spend a day, especially a hot day!

It was an okay amusement park
Nov 2014 • Family
We visited Knott's berry farm during our San Diego trip. WE simply spent our time at planet snoopy all day. The rides had long wait. There were a lot of rides where my kids weren't allowed. But the same rides at SeaWorld or LEGOLAND was okay. even if we wanted to be with the kids, they didn't allow. So it was a bit disappointing to utilize our time and money on this place. The parking was a bit hectic too. Its in the middle of the city and it is very rigorous approach to park. On our way out, the light signals weren't working. So we all had to make right turns and then take 'U' turn to get out of the park. Overall, not a good experience.

Loved it.

Had a brilliant day at the park with my family, the park was quiet so there was hardly any queues. The rides were really good and some were actually pretty fast. The atmosphere was excellent the music played over the speakers was a brilliant mix of music from the 60s through to latest hits. Have a great day in the sun. Only down side was that you can not take in your own food.
