We saw the monument & park. It would be nice to have signage out explaining the history of what happened here.

Great monument and area, along the Freedom Trail. It is a nice park area with a cool statue of William Prescot, the leader of the rebels. You can take the stairs to the top of the monument, I didn't do this. The museum is close by and is well worth the visit. I recommend this site.

A worthwhile site to visit : allow yourself 20 to 30 minutes to walk around ; although parking is a bit more difficult for non residents . Handicap spots are more abundant .

This monument commemorates the important site from the Revolutionary War. There is an old neighborhood all around it. Make it a part of your Freedom Trail.
