You can see the museum exhibitions that change every so often but you can also request to see any map in their collection. Great website too

Great selection of maps and materials that supposedly change every so often. Will definitely have to come back to sample new themes of maps as this most recent themes had waterways and distorted perception for example. I am sure that there are more maps in the collection but obviously they cannot all be displayed at once.

Don't be fooled by the small size and location inside the Boston Public Library. This map center is a history buff's dream, a collection of antique maps that reflect how our perception of the world has changed over many centuries. I could have easily spent more than 5 hours here, especially with a magnifying glass and notebook. Definitely on my list for the next trip to Beantown!
