They brightened the square during COVID. Thank you so much! Look forward to more lovely walks past it.

This is one of the centers of town, notable for the library and the big hotel here, where I stayed many years ago. A nice open square in a very built-up part of town.

We stayed at the Fairmont, so everyday we walked out of the hotel, we passed by Copley Square. There was something happening here every single day. There was an informational exhibit one day, and the next was a Farmers Market. It's a small square, but getting here lets you see so many other sites that are withing steps (Trinity Church, Newbury Street, The Library, etc).

This is a great landmark for a walk on Boylston and Newbury streets. There one can take a break on a bench and watch passers by or take photographs of the nearby sights.

Copley Square is named after painter John Singleton Copley. There are several interesting historical sites in the immediate vicinity of the square. There is a metro station named Copley making public transportation to and from the area very convenient. The park itself is small but with its surroundings it’s a good place to visit.
