About
One of the city's most popular park located between the Mission District and the Castro/Noe Valley neighborhoods. On sunny afternoons people flock to the park to play, picnic, lounge, walk their dogs, and enjoy spectacular views of the city's skyline and beyond. Please remember to pack out your trash, use cans instead of glass, and don't leave cigarette butts behind. This is a Leave no Trace park and bins are located around the perimeter of the park.

This park is extremely popular and located in a densely-populated area, so expect crowds. It is located in one of the sunniest parts of town, so often good weather. Great for sun bathing and for a picnic and there are some great views.

I went to this park with friends who live in the area. We walked up to the topside of the park which just seemed like a normal park. Then I turned around to face the bay. What a gorgeous view. If you are in the area, stop there for a great view of the skyline. Most people in the park are picnicking and just enjoying being outside.

On a sunny San Francisco day you might want to check Mission Delores Park at 18th St and Delores St. This is a gathering spot for locals on a typical sunny SF day. Rolling green grass, childrens play structure, tennis courts and genuine laziness. Bring a sandwich, sit back and people watch. Great way to spend an afternoon in San Francisco.

Maybe the most popular park in town, especially on a sunny day, and maybe because it is located in the middle of a very densely-populated area. So people come outdoors for sun (it's SF's most sunny neighborhood) and for fun with all the activities. Lots of people gather for picnics. And there are great views of the city.

We went to Mission Dolores Park, which is one of the most popular park in San Francisco. It’s a fine place to rest when you visit Mission district, with many lush green lawns and palm trees.
For families with children, there are also picnic areas and playgrounds.

This is a perfect urban park, absolutely full of people especially on weekends. Good place for a picnic and on a sunny day, everyone is out catching rays. Plus the tennis courts. Some attractive houses around.

A landscape park with awesome monuments surrounded by mission cathedrals & schools . Ideal place for all age groups having dedicated space for cool games, children park , doggie park, walking track & picnic.
Spent almost an hour with food & drinks in the park having chill folks, cute dogs , cool games with popping music.
Really a cool hangout place with great vibes !

I was not expecting such a magnificent view of the SF skyline from the top of Mission Dolores park! What a surprise! Otherwise, this is a very beautiful, busy park, with lots of installment for the kids and adults alike. It is close to the Bi-Rite creamery, so also a great place to enjoy an ice cream cone. And it is super accessible, at the top of the park is the tram which will take you all the way down Market street to the Embarcadero!

Pleasant park ideal for playing sports or having a picnic. Like most in the city, it is also uphill. It caught our attention to see the train crossing one of its slopes. Nice views of the center.

Got a quick picnic lunch and took it to the top near the statue to eat and see the view. The day was perfect, cool yet sunny. Weekends are extremely busy. There is a nice children's play area. Lots of people walking their dogs or just chillin on the grass.
