This beach is a short walk from our house so we come here twice or thrice a week. The beach is clean, people clean up after themselves, there are petsand kids of all ages enjoying themselves.. water seems to always be too cold for me...More

Definitely worth visiting this beautiful beach! Calm waters, shallow & beautiful blue/turquoise waters made this a great spot. Parking is in a residential area so finding parking can be a little challenging. Make sure you don't park in the bike lanes which has a fine....More

Came to see the sunrise, grabbed some poi banana bread and a coffee and sat in the beach. Beautiful spot to take photos . Parking on the street right there. Get there early because it is a popular spot to see the sunrise.

Finding a parking space is a challenge in this residential beach area. Park only where you are allowed or you'll be fined. There aren't any amenities. No toilets, no showers, no garbage bins, no stalls, no chairs for rent. And I guess that's what makes...More

I am originally from the island of Oahu, HI and whenever we visit we stay at one of the Beach Homes in Lanikai. This is definitely the beach to see and enjoy. The view is Heaven on Earth!

Stay away from this beach if you are a tourist looking for peace and relaxation or just stay in Waikiki with the crowds. This beach can be just as crowded. No amenities so guess where everyone goes and what you are swimming and snorkeling in?...More

Our private tour guide brought us to this area. Lanikai Beach is located on the lush windward side of the island of Oahu, between Kailua Bay and Waimanalo Bay. It is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Hawaii, and one of the best...More

It's certainly a nice beach as beaches go, but there are no restrooms, no showers and extremely limited parking. Although they are nice enough, the neighbors resent you being there, especially if you don't haul out your own rubbish.

Soft sand, clear water, and calm waves make this one of the best beaches on O'ahu. There will be plenty of tourists as there are many people who come to see the beauty of this beach, but it's worth dealing with them. You may want...More

Spectacular beach, with good support infrastructure and Buzz’s restaurant near by worth a visit. Fine white sand and beautiful blue clear water make the perfect beach.

Haven't been to the other spots you mentioned but my wife and I loved Lanikai! We found 3 turtles out there and we swam with them for half an hour before they moved on. It was awesome! Plus it's a quiet beach, less touristy... More

I’m sure you can but it would be a long drive. I recommend renting a car so you can hang out at the beach and visit the many restaurants and shops. I always rent a car so I can travel and visit at my pace.
