Clear Kayak and Snorkel Adventure from Kihei

Get a new perspective on life under the sea with this adventure, which includes a clear kayak ride and a snorkeling trip. You'll head out to Makena Landing Park in Wailea, where you'll get to spot all sorts of local life, including coral and fish; if you're lucky, you might even see a sea turtle.

Nice stop for views and great gardens. It’s $15 per person but we’ll worth it. We loved the bamboo trail and the views of the Jurassic park rock + waterfalls are nice. It’s a garden though and it’s self guided and there’s no access to water from their location. As many said, it’s not very crowded and it’s very peaceful.

It is perfectly beautiful, perfectly maintained and deserted as a real Garden of Eden after Adam and Eva left. There is a good probability that you will be the only visitor in this usually crowded place. If you have a chance to come, do it.

Beautiful views of waterfalls and the ocean, awesome variety of trees and plants and great walking trails. Also the grill there was excellent and had the best coconut bread we had on island and excellent banana bread too

Lots of places along the road to Hana to stop. Almost all of them are free. The Garden of Eden charges $15 per head. So why would I recommend it? The place is beautiful. It is very well kept up. They have an abundance of easily negotiated trails, and a guide map to find your way around. And, maybe because of the admission fee, its quiet and peaceful, not crowded. I saw some reviews that indicated they were turned off by the entrance fee. We felt it was worth it.

We visited on a nice sunny afternoon on our way back from Hana. I was hesitant about the $15 entry fee per person but as the time went by during our visit I actually might have paid more. To be clear, this is nature, lots of interesting and beautiful plants and awesome views so some may not find it exciting. BUT, one of the main reasons you visit Maui is to enjoy the natural beauty. If you are driving the road to Hana and enjoying all of the natural beauty this is a great stop to add and worth exploring the interesting trees/plants/views/animals in Eden!
