- robertrT4940ZT10 contributionsFun Little TownCute little town, well maintained with an assortment of gift shops, art galleries and places to grab a snack or a meal. Century old buildings have plaques with information about the structures. Lovely, very large monkey pod tree with twisted limbs. Fun place to stroll around for an hour or so.Visited May 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 6 May 2023

Some of the stores had some quite interesting merchandise! Don't miss the shave ice at The Fresh Shave. Best we had on the entire island!Visited April 2023Travelled with familyWritten 16 May 2023
- Brandon KFlagstaff, Arizona1,888 contributionsThis is worth your time to wanderWe rented a car and ended up in Koloa many times over the 5 days we were on Kauai. The first time, we were too early for the shops to be open and we just wandered quietly and got some coffee and hit the historic market (that is now stealthily an ABC store). We came back again during business hours and wandered around even more. The history of the area is very interesting if you read the plaques on the buildings.Visited August 2023Written 27 August 2023

This is a lovely area to wander around and shop. There were lots of options and different price ranges of stores. We would definitely recommend walking around here again!

This is such a lovely little town. We so enjoyed just strolling through the little stores and shops here. They have some great little restaurants and even a couple little food truck area with excellent food. We really enjoyed our visit.

Very nice area to walk around and do some shopping. We took the Kauai Shuttle 30 from Poipu. Fresh Shave was the best shave ice we had on Kauai

This is a historic small town, one of the most interesting in the United States. Very scenic location. Several nice shops and places to pick-up snacks as souvenirs or to gobble up immediately.

Very charming town full of interesting stores and eateries. We had a great dinner and enjoyed walking around plus my favorite dive shop, Fathom 5 Divers, is located just off the main street.

It is the Christian Riso Fine Art and it is open for business. I know the owners and it is NOT closing. They do some of the best framing I have ever seen!!
