the waterfall can indeed be seen from the road, and is far from impressive when compared to others along the river gorge. it is well worth the effort of getting out the car and following the old road walking trail past the falls and up the pathway further up the hills.

Dog Creek falls is located just off the highway East of Stevenson, WA. Because it is so close to the highway, it is easily visible from the parking lot, though deserves a walk up to see it closer. There is a short trail from the parking lot/pullout to the 30 foot falls which run year-around. There is a pool below the falls ideal for swimming.
There are no tables, but it is a cute spot for a picnic.
There are no facilities at the site - pack it in, pack it out.

This was a surprisingly beautiful and peaceful spot. There is a short trail from the parking area to the falls. There is one spot that is a little steep, but as long as you have on good shoes, it should be fairly easy. You can cross over on the big rocks and get tight up next to the falls. It’s definitely worth stopping to see.

This is a pretty falls that you can see from the road. If you park a very brief walk brings you to the base of the waterfalls. Not too much to it.
