What an AMAZING day we had touring the factory, wandering through the beautiful boutique, visiting the wine cellar, men's sewing classroom and theater and then having lunch in the employee dining room. Silvia was our fantastic host and she was the perfect brand representative for such an eponymous name. EVERYWHERE you looked, you saw beauty. EVERYWHERE! No detail was left to chance. And you can now somewhat understand why his collections are pricey. The extravagant fabrics - and even threads - add magic to the designs. I could go on and on about our amazing day but suffice it to say, if you ever have the chance to tour Brunello Cucinelli and Solomeo, do it. Don't miss it.

We tried to get to Solomeo in a recent trip, but failing any response to inquiry, visited the store in Venice. Wow! and the beautiful "sweater" I purchased is the talk everywhere I wear it. Giacomo and Igor were totally handsome and gracious of manner. We came back several times to the shop to chat, and were most thankful for the assistance personally taking me to the VAT tax refund office. Want to write a story comparing the precepts of Mr. Cucinelli with our own famed architect Don Ruggels for a feature news article and would appreciate access assistance. For me a Master Photographer, I love the catalogues. Sweet work.

It seems like you are walking into a really gorgeous Hollywood film-set. Everything is so meticulously cared for... the retail store is also beautiful... but certainly too expensive for my Visa card. Very pleasant place to sit and have a coffee.... the small village grocery is chocked full of interesting things to buy... including food.

I always wanted to visit solomeo so took the opportunity when I was visiting perugia. I took a taxi from perugia train station and it cost €25. The return trip was also the same price and both drivers accept creidt card which is convenient. The solomeo hamlet is beautiful with a pot of buildings built on the hill offering beautiful scenic views of the surrounding countryside. The store is big with an upper floor dedicated to menswear. The store stocks the latest collection so it's not an outlet but the prices are 30% less than high street shops.
The SAs were helpful and one arranged to call a taxi for me to get back to Perugia. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

This is like no other designer outlet anywhere: beautiful surroundings, beautiful buildings, super clothing choices and super sales help. Go out of your way when in Italy to visit and Shop til you Drop! You won't be sorry: the highest quality of clothing that is classic enough to last for years!

What Brunello Cucinelli has done in this area of Solomeo (near Perugia) is pure authentic quality. It also contains a Factory Store with apparel for both men and women. The prices are ~ 30% less than retail. The displays have small quantities of stock; however, you can inquire if you do not see the size or color you are interested in.

As Brunello Cuccinelli fans, we decided to visit the town that Mr. Cuccinelli has restored as well as his flagship store. The town is beautiful and super clean and the store had the latest merchandise collections. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

The store was terrific (much less than US$) and the facility amazing with a vineyard, performing arts center and athletic facility.

Brunello is my favourite brand in the past few years. I had a bit of extra time on this trip although I cannot recall why this idea of visiting Solomeo came up but I enjoyed the shopping experience very much. I took the train from Rome and got off at Ellera. Then I took a taxi to the store which costs about 25 euros. There is no taxi waiting outside the station but there is a Best Western Hotel nearby so I got a taxi there.

Our apartment has a view across the valley to Solmeo and every holiday has to include a trip to Brunello Cucinelli. The village is stunning and so beautifully restored. The shop is beautiful to visit with charming staff and just incredible clothing. It is a well kept secret so I hope this review doesn’t spoil that!

How do I get to Solomeo from the town of Castiglion Florentino? I don't have a car, I'll be using taxi and train. Thanks.
