This small village atop a hill outside Greve in Chianti consists of a circular road around a central castle. It has a vey peaceful air and seems unchanged since its medieval roots. Various village cats lounge on high and watch the comings and goings. There...More

We walked to this location from our nearby hotel, and loved everything about it - old, quaint, with incredible views of surrounding landscape! Small, but a must if you’re in the area!

One if the many small places worth stopping for and walking around. We didn't stop long maybe 45 min but that was more than enough as we did not stop to have any food or drink.

We visited Montefioralle coming by car from Greve. Park at the foot of the castle and then go explore on foot. The town is very charming with old medieval buildings and great views over the rolling hills. Definitly worth a visit!!
