Its too touristy really. Went there since all tourists go but nothing great about it. Its not a revered shrine or anything but more like a shopping center. If you are spiritual and religious visit Neelkanth temple instead.

The concept of having a 13 story high temple in this mountainous region itself is awe-inspiring but trust me,the climb up is not.
This is located just beside the Laxman Jhula where it reaches the other side of the Ganges. Every level have an array of Hindu Gods and Goddesses,and you have to keep climbing more to see each one of them. Arduous task in my honest opinion.

Tera Manzil Temple is a Hindu temple and next to Laxman Jhula bridge on the eastern bank of the River Ganges. It’s a distinctive looking 13 storey building where each level is dedicated to a different Hindu god. The upper levels are great places for views of the River, Laxman Jhula and to watch the sun set.

This is a 13 storey modern temple complex located just beside the famous Lakshman Jhoola. Not a sacred place as such but worth visiting for its uniqueness. In every floor there are temples dedicated to various Hindu Gods and Goddess. One needs to be fit enough to climb also. View of the Ganges and mountains from the top is amazing.

The mandir is located just north to Laxman jhula which is beutiful in itself.
You can enjoy the top view from the temple and do not forget to spend sine time at natural vank of The Ganga.

Trayambakeshwar Temple is also called Tera Manzil because of its 13 storeyed structure. It is believed that the prayers offered at the Trimbakeshwar – ‘Abode of the three eyed one‘ are fulfilled. Lord Shiva in the form of a magnificent Lingam is the main deity. The temple is also adorned with idols of various gods and goddesses from Hindu mythology, in each floor. You also have bells to ring when you cross them. We didn't climb all the way to the 13th floor but it would be a great place to see the sunset from.
We reached early afternoon but I was worried if the temple would be open at that time. We were relieved to know that the temple remains open at all times on all days. One important thing! Do not confuse with the Trayambakeshwar Temple of Nasik that houses one of the only twelve Jyotirlingams in the world.
There is a small round about at Lakshman Jhula with a Lord Shiva statue. Take a left towards the temple lane and entrance. These are mainly Pooja Bhandars where you get pooja items and rudrakshas. Take a right and you can find a long array of shops.

One of the tallest temples I have seen. Though Triveni Ghat Aarti & Parmarth Niketan Aarti are the most sought after Ghats for Ganga Aarti, I found Tera Manzil Temple Ghat or Trimbakeshwar Ghat Aarti the best - for the peaceful aarti. When I was here with my friends, we got an opportunity of offering Aarti ourselves which we would have never got at other 2 places mentioned.

A lot of small rooms like temples dedicated to varied Hindu deities..! As it is just adjacent to Laxman-Jhula, you could easily visit there if you have some extra time in hand. A totally different concept..

Every floor requires a lot of walking and a huge number of shops. Don't expect a divine experience, good just for the view from the top.
