The chapel was very beautiful for dog lovers. Next door was a gift shop with a lot of pretty high-priced artwork. We couldn't hike the trails as it was pouring rain. And be forewarned, it is on a dirt road (GPS doesn't mention that).
A beautiful spot that was easy to find. We took our dog with us who enjoyed the visit as well. The chapel is a special place, with lovely stained glass windows and doggy-themed pews. A nice place to spend time with your four-legged-family members or...More

I have no idea about the liquor rules at Dog Mountain. Their website has seemed user friendly so that may be another way to check on their feelings about liquor brought to the park. When I visited in Fall 2015 I know all they would talk about was how dogs could have fun on the property, relax in the chapel. I found this place on the spur of the moment while traveling, it has been a fine memory ever since.
