The total experience was awe-inspiring! Everything from the wonderful gallery of Stephen's works to the beautiful chapel where I had intended to write a memorial but was unable to do so as it was so overwhelming...both as happy memories and the sadness of profound loss....More

It is well worth going off the highway into the sleepy village of St. Johnsbury, Vermont, to visit the Stephen Huneck dog chapel. I've been privileged to visit 3 times.......in 2003, 2005, and 2 days ago....It is the most peaceful place and a great place...More

What a quaint and peaceful place, until you have lots of fun dogs running at you to greet you as you find you way to the dog park/pond near the chapel. Great place to check out. Left a message for my dog that has passed.

There’s no fenced in areas at the mountain. It is all kind of surrounded by thick trees and bushes that sort of act like a fences at the edges of the fields, but there are no actual fences.
