Well done PC

One of my fav ski resorts in the USA. Well organized, impeccably groomed slopes and a huge area that can be accessed on the ski pass (definitely recommend Epic). The one downside - and it is a serious one - is the inadequate parking. If you get there late you could be out of luck.

HUGE Resort.
Feb 2021
Love skiing here. HUGE!!!. Get 2 resort in 1 with the merge with Canyons. Skied first chair to last call for a couple of days and still have more stashes to discover. Love the fact that free buses get you everywhere around town you need to be to access the mountain
We ski all over the US and my favorite resort to ski so far. Would love to experience Deer Valley but there are snowbaorders in our group so can't go with those "Knuckle-draggers."

Park City/Canyons/(Old Park West)....is now a fantastic ski area.
Apr 2021 • Family
Addendum review. I was one of those old fart, the combo of PC/Canyons/Park West would never work.

I was wrong. Vail-Epic-PC municipality-state of Utah have created a fantastic ski resort. It took a few years, but they all did it.

Genuine “old town” (Aspen/Telluride/Steamboat style).

Gigantic ski area.

greatest snow on earth.........no lie

Way, Way fun.

It’s good.....don’t hesitate. Just a Ski Utah.

Vail ruins skiing
Mar 2021
Save your money, go to Deer Valley. Unfortunately we only had our Epic passes this year. I've lived in Park City for several decades and have enjoyed the freedom. Vail sells passes super cheap, has closed more runs every year and hires awful lift attendants. After today I will never ski Vail again. It was the worst experience either of us had.

Like skiing in a George Orwell novel
Mar 2021
My husband and I visited Park City to ski and snowboard. Our son attended ski school one of the days as well. The experience could have been much more pleasant if not for the horrible treatment of the patrons by resort staff. In between fun and relaxing runs down the slopes, we (and everyone else) were screamed at by dozens of resort staff whose sole job appeared to be making sure everyone’s mask was over their nose and mouth. They had staff posted throughout the somewhat ironically jam-packed lines for the lifts to scream at anyone not wearing a mask. It felt more like being in Russia in the 1920s or Germany in the 1940s and less like being at a luxury resort where we were paying $200 per ticket per day. It became abusive. We were concerned when our son was coming back late from ski school and when we went to inquire on his whereabouts we were ignored and then screamed at about masks. This is an outdoor sport, how can you force a child to wear a mask through it? It’s just abuse. Our time actually skiing/boarding was relatively pleasant. Snow was good, especially for Spring skiing, and the lifts were nice and well run. Their signage leaves much to be desired - despite carefully following the maps provided, there were several times we ended up on blacks when we wanted to stay on blues/greens. The resort is massive, and with less than 20% of it suitable for beginners, signs seem especially important.

Great Place to be Yelled At
Mar 2021
Covid rules are awful. Employees are hateful in their approach. Skiing is a sport...wearing a mask while doing it is not comfortable. Skiing is done outside, so lighten up!! I spent $400 for the day for ski school and my 5 year old had to mask all day while he was skiing. This is criminal!!!! Ski school is super disorganized.
Employees are planted all over the resort for the sole purpose of yelling at customers. This doesn't make me want to go back to Park City. Slopes great, employees awful!

Last minute ski trip
Feb 2021 • Family
Park City was a great place to have our last minute ski trip! Great snow and about 50% capacity! The report is very well organized and the transportation options are versatile. Easy to get around safely. Only thing I will say about downtown, many “restaurants” are really just bars with food. So they won’t let in your teenagers! Still plenty of options in town though!

Family vacation
Mar 2021 • Family
This was an amazing 5-day vacation with friends and family. We stayed at a VRBO in downtown Park City, right across the street from the town lift. ski rentals & lift were available just steps away. We had 3 days of skiing Park City, terrific meals, spa day for Moms, lots of laughs, and an amazing vacation. We will be back!!!!!!

No logic to covid rules
Feb 2021 • Couples
Who comes up with these rules? I got scolded by an employee as I had just finished a run and was waiting about 20 feet from anybody so I had not yet pulled up my mask because I was socially distanced and outside. Did not know I was under Natzi rule. Also apparently ice spreads covid because you are not allowed to have ice in your drink because of covid

Terrible
Feb 2021
Park city by way of Epic is a total let down and failure. The service is terrible, the reservations system is a joke. Do not patronize.
