What a magnificent venue. This is a treasure from an earlier age and we really enjoyed the music of the 60s, 70s, and 80s (in reverse order) performed by the very talented and versatile cast. Bathrooms are inadequate and this would be a problem if...More

A great show, the musicians and conductor gave a fantastic performance. The seats were only three rows back from the stage, a new experience for us and totally amazing to see the intensity of the musicians as they became engrossed in the music.

This is the most beautiful Historical venue in the 4-States Area! The production was very well done and at times it was hard to believe this was a small town community ballet troupe that only does one show per year. This was a very enjoyable...More

We wanted to see inside. Went to the ticket office and ask if that was possible. Tourism is pretty much over. They were more than happy to give us a tour. Very nice, friendly people. I can't do many steps so we stayed downstairs but...More

Each year our daughter's dance recital is performed at the Perot. It is a beautiful theatre!!!! Comfortable seating. I'm a stage mom, so being backstage a lot, I get to see exactly what the theatre is made of. It is beautiful all around!!!

Thank you! Even though you have seen the inner workings, come by during business hours for a free tour. We will give you history along with functional descriptions of what you've seen, and maybe things you haven't.

Took a tour of this beautiful old theater in Texarkana and was blown away by the meticulous care and love that has been put into returning this theater to its former glory. The story of how it opened in 1924 and was saved from abandonment...More

Formerly the Saenger Theater, built in 1924, this magnificent historic venue is beautiful and functional. The theater is fully refurbished and comfortable but keeps the original design and decor themes. The Perot hosts concerts, off broadway shows, ballets, and other productions. The Perot is one...More

When we went there were no regularly scheduled tours. We went into the office area and visited with the folks who just offered the tour. It was very informal.
