It was a learning experience. Good to understand the history and the processes involved in the currency printing in the US. No eletronic devices are allowed. The visit is free and takes about 2-3 hours

This is one of two places in the US, where the high quality paper money printed. It shows you the entire process how the paper money is made. It is a free too. No phone, no camera.

I thought they might have had something in the guardhouse where you go through the metal detector. Best bet is to call them: (866) 865-1194 This number is on the website too.

We, and others that I noticed, left our cell phones in our car. We assumed that security was such here that we had nothing to worry about.
