This was the second time for me to the Ft Worth Zoo and it has changed so much, a better and easier layout of the zoo. I am so pleased the way the zoo now accommodates the handicap. The new African animals and exhibits additions...More

This is one of my favorite zoo. The exhibits were open and clean. Lots of activities for children and adults of all ages. The layout to explore and walk was nice.

I first visited the Ft. Worth Zoo in middle school in the early 1970s. We used to go as a family and for school field trips. Used to have an amusement park attached. Didn't see it this trip.

This is the 2nd best I've ever been.It ranks #5 in the nation for a reason. Huge selection of animals, most in natural habitat environments. Always clean and signposted well. Baby gorilla and baby elephant are adorable. ]1st being Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle.]

This is my third trip to the zoo. It was just okay to me. There was a lot of construction like the zoo was rebuilding.

Fort Worth zoo is nice for my kids and has a better layout since recent construction. It does seem to always have some kind of construction going on though, which is a little annoying. Better going in fall than summer so more animals are outside.

Oh no it's a good family zoo with a good mix of animals but I don't know what can you really say about it because it's a small town in comparison to something like Washington DC so enjoy it a laid-back family Zoo.

Been to cours across several states. But fast my favorite. Love the shaded paths, friendly atmosphere, and cleanliness. Plus the animals are in large areas, which you are able to get closer to than many other zoos. Great place, even at an older age.

I am one of those people who has conflicted feelings about zoos, I do not like that the animals are confined to enclosures and put on display, but also loving the conservation efforts and rehabilitation these establishments provided. That being said, this zoo really takes...More

Lots of trees. But I would carry an umbrella or ponchos and you should be fine.
