What a fun place to visit! Adults and children can have a great time seeing cowboys, a rodeo, historic sites and buildings, gunfight reenactments, shop in great stores, and eat wonderful food. A great historic western area.

There is much to learn about the history of Fort Worth and the Stock Yards here. it is time well spent if you are interested in taking a trip to the past. Free just to walk around other than parking in the lots.

We really enjoyed our walk through this area. Nice and relaxed atmosphere and if you visit the museum or the visitors center some nice history facts will be told to you as well.

By taxi or car, you're looking at about 15 minutes. Not really possible on foot.
