It was pretty cold and gloomy when we went so half of us stayed by the fire in the cafe with a coffee and the other half walked up to the top of the hill. Something for everyone! Interesting visitors centre!

Well managed park, moderate to most places and hard climb to the best viewing spots but well worth the effort once you get there!

We had not planned to go there but since we were nearby, gave it a chance. Realised that this is one of hidden gem for spending quality time with loved ones. You can also have a barbecue and a hearty walk to see amazing views.

I visited the reserve with the aim of climbing to the summit and actually seeing the area I had read about and seen movies/miniseries about. I arrived nice and early and parked in an almost deserted car park. It was a cold day so I’d...More

We signed up for the night climb of Hanging Rock and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is for all fitness levels and is a great way to spot some nocturnal wildlife. We saw koalas, an echidna and many possums.

First time to visit, I thought it is climbing mountain might be difficult but here much more comfortable to walk up. Good with family activities. Nice view and good exercise. $10 for parking was great 👍

hi Sharon. the only practical alternative is to hire a care and drive yourself for the 1/2 day. Its only about an hour drive, easy to get to, but there no real public transport options.
