Busy on a Sunday. A few shops and restaurants and the opportunity to climb on some observation tower from where you have nice view on the village and neighboring islands. Not really worth the detour though.

Coming from maritime Kodiak, Alaska we always gravitate to the beach, oceanfront or harbor when possible. Queenscliff waterfront is a blend of history, commercial fishing and tourist spots. But not overdone. It was midweek so not crazy-busy. We walked in early morning and after dinner....More

I like observation desks and this one was most enjoyable. The varied views of the surrounding is most interesting.

We went to the harbour Sunday morning. The view from the observation tower was fantastic with lift for easy access with a pram. Highly recommend going to the harbour for a look and a bite to eat with plenty of options.

We went here on a wild, wet and windy day. The views from the top of the tower were amazing and we were very glad to be able to take the lift instead of the stairs! A fantastic array of restaurants, cafes and shops which...More
