Very expensive experience! Guide had a good grasp of the history but a poor knowledge of the formation of the caves. Talked TOO MUCH! No good opportunities for photos.

We took the kids for a day trip to Buchan, caves were excellent, the guide was very informative and made it fun for the kids. Took about 45 mins from Lakes Entrance

Discovered in 1907 the caves are worth visiting. The guide is very informative and gave an extensive look into the history of the Caves, it's discoverer Frank Moore and the millions of years they have been forming

Bit hard on the back when you have to stoop down walking between stops. Guide was very informative. Only negative was that for safety you couldn't take photos on the walkways between stops where some of the best formations were. Was pleased when found out...More

Hi Carlotta, There is some accommodation in the Caves reserve, you would need to contact them about that, they have mainly camping but also a couple of cabins I think. There is also a range of different options in Buchan... More
