Awesome paddleboarding on the lake. It was quiet and lots of ducks, geese, plus a beautiful sunset. Parking is easy and everything was clean. Plenty of picnic tables.

Late March is a 50/50 chance of good/bad weather - have seen it snow. Recommend waiting a couple of months unless you want to try trout fishing in the nearby streams and rivers.
