Stopped here on way from Asheville to Gatlinburg. Small store packed with books, toys, knicknacks and souveneers. Coffee and teas as well. Purchased a couple of books to read and also 2 cups of marvelous coffee. Friendly and helpful. Tons of used books reasonably priced.

Awesome little bookstore at convenient road trip location. They have great selection and it is definitely a great place for a book lover! They also sell coffee. However, we mainly came for the coffee, and it was pretty bad. They have a great selection of flavors, however, our lattes tasted like plain milk, like there was no coffee/espresso in here. Go here if you want to shop for books, don't go here for the coffee!

Mu mom and I are visiting from New Jersey and saw Our Place while on our way back to our campground and we had to stop. The owner came out to greet us while we were browsing outside, welcomed us in and asked if we would like coffee while browsing, the coffee was GREAT, I even bought a bag for home. My mom LOVED the selection of books, and I loved the selection of gifts, souvenirs, trinkets, and other fun finds. The owner is wonderful and the place itself is such a great find!

An absolute treasure in an absolutely beautiful town. We were offered delicious coffee made to order and enjoyed the absolute delights of this very friendly establishment; books, unique T-shirts, jewelry, vintage items, crystals. We cant wait to come back!!

I LOVE this place! Great selection of books and organic coffee, among other things. I could literally spend all day in this place. I tend to stop in once or twice a year. It is by far my favorite place to shop for books anywhere. The owners are absolutely wonderful! I can't wait to stop in again this November!

We saw a sign on the side of the road that advertised Our Place and it's great coffee. Then we saw a sign that said "Yes we are worth turning around for"...so needless to say with a sign like that advertising coffee I just had to make my husband turn the car around LOL
I told the owner that I saw her sign and that I had to try the coffee. She promptly asked me what kind... regular, decaf, cappuccino, espresso... I was like WOW! I ordered a cappuccino flavored with vanilla and we toured the little book store while she made it.
Their book selection is AMAZING! If you are ever in the search for an older book or even just a different book this is definitely the place! They had everything from Civil War to Cookbooks to Stephen King to Nature books to historical books. This was like a wonderful playground for me and my husband. We were able to find the Stephen King set of the Green Mile and the whole set was only $7! So not only is her selection great, so are her prices and her coffee!!! She brought me my coffee and it was delicious! She said to let her know if I want it any sweeter and I told her it was perfect and their sign was correct! She was very friendly and we chit chatted a little bit but she didn't follow us around the book store like you would expect some people to do.
Best Coffee in the Smokies and definitely worth turning around for!

This is an unexpected discovery in Cosby, TN. They have an amazing spectrum of used books on every topic you can imagine. You can drink coffee and eat muffins while you choose among books, local products, cards and many other things. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We were glad we got off the beaten path in Gatlinburg and discovered Our Place!

Loved this place! Right on Highway 321 in Cosby I found this perfect stop! Can't ask for more kindness, books (old, new used), help, or information, odds and ends anything! Finally someone listened to those of us that like to "turn paper pages" still! I wanted a book that I had been looking for in MD for quite some time and when I asked for it, Poof! It was right in my hands within seconds. Went right to the section and found it. Maps, mysteries, love stories, children's books, etc., anything you want it's here. There are beautiful antiques and lots more. The prices are set just right or cheaper! You can't believe what is in store here unless you actually go visit. Get's you away from the crowds and into some nice country area also. A must see for your enjoyment! I will always return when I'm in town! I wish I would have had more time in there. You could get lost for hours! Get's a 10 from me!

Are they opened during the week? and hours of operation ... we will be visiting in beginning of Nov.
Written 23 October 2016
Yes, we are open 7 days a week. This time of year, we are open from about 9 am until about 6-7 pm. If you would like to visit later than that, you can call ahead & see if we are available to be open later. Hope to see you soon! We are often called visitors' favorite store in the Smokies, as we are not only known for our selection of books & unique items, but also for our low prices!
