We had a great time in Worley's cave with John as our tour guide. He showed us all the cool crawl spaces and Cave formations. Thank you for the experience!

Absolutely Stunning Adventure
Mar 2021 • Couples
Me and my boyfriend planned a trip for Worley’s cave through USARaft we got there and waited for a while but we called and found out that our trip had not been processed so our guide John wasn’t aware there was suppose to be a trip. That’s not his fault just a slight company mess up that they were more than accommodating us to make sure we got the best experience. John showed up and he was absolutely fantastic. He was such a nice guy and you can tell he puts a lot of care, time, and effort into the trips. The cave was beautiful and John was so well educated on the different formations, pointing out neat little things, and making the trip so much more enjoyable. He was happy to take our pictures in the cave so we have awesome memories of our time there. He taught us some history, pointed out unique features like an old signature wall and some of the oldest fossils on earth! I would highly recommend booking a trip with them, but definitely call to confirm your trip just to make sure everything is sorted. It’s a bit of rigorous activity so be prepared to walk, climb, and crawl for ~4.4 miles give or take depending on your time frame, size of your group, and capabilities. Bring some old clothes and shoes you won’t care about getting real muddy and wet. You will get dirty and you will get wet so be prepared. I would recommend knee pads or thicker pants if you think your knees will hurt from crawling but they aren’t necessary for getting through the cave. Drink plenty of water and eat beforehand because you will be underground for a long time. There is a porter potty and a little fenced area for changing before/after. Have a good mindset, take a breath and take in the caves beauty and enjoy its magnificence because it’s truly remarkable. Wanna take this time to thank John again for a wonderful experience, wishing you and your family well!

Excellent Caving Experiece for the Whole Family
Oct 2020
We went for our first caving experience. We hired a guide from USA Raft and Mountain River Guides. John, our guide was awesome. He quickly learned our strengths and weaknesses and tailored our tour to meet our needs. He was very educated on the geography and history of the cave. He was able to answer all our questions, including the 100+ from our 8 year old son. He was able to calm my 8 year old and get him over his fear of the water with little effort. He is great with kids and adults alike. I highly recommend a visit to Worley's Cave, but if you are new to caving, hire a guide from USA Raft and Mountain River Guides, you will not be disappointed.

Great Caving Adventure
Sep 2020 • Friends
Had an outstanding experience booking a tour through USA Raft! Haley was super accommodating and helpful setting up the trip on the phone, and our guide John his partner Naomi were awesome taking us through the cave. Super knowledgeable and gave us an experience we won't forget! We definitely want to come back and do the extended tours and then go rafting with them as well. The cave itself is beautiful and a real natural experience. It is not one of the touristy, anyone can walk through caves with a gift shop. This is a raw, "wild" experience for adventurers.

Half day trip into Worley's Cave
Jul 2020 • Couples
We booked our caving trip into Worley's Cave through USA Raft. Our guide John was knowledgeable, accomodating, patient, even offered to take photos for us. It was definitely a unique experience, and this was unlike anything we have ever done. If you find yourself in the area this is worth a try. Be prepared to get dirty and wet.

Worleys Cave
Jul 2019 • Couples
This is a fantastic cave for beginners and pros alike. It starts in large open spaces, features a number of main passages and walkways that most can navigate well. It also offers many crawls, tight challenges and even some hand line work for those that are more adventurous. There is also a secondary exit within seeing distance of the cave entrance that requires you walk through water. Local colleges and tour companies have been known to host trips.

Caving with Taylor from USA Raft
Jul 2019 • Couples
We had a great experience with Taylor from USA Raft as our guide. Taylor is very knowledgeable about the geology and hydrology of the cave and made the trip a both a fun and educational experience! Be sure to wear proper attire including a long sleeve shirt, long pants, and shoes with good tread - all of which you do not care about getting dirty. There is crawling and sliding involved; this is not a cave tour where the cave is already lit with established guide rails and designated walking trails. With this said, Taylor was very prompt and more than happy to assist anyone who was in need of a little extra help in the more slick areas. There are parts where you may wade through shallow water so be sure to bring a complete change of clothes including socks and shoes. The entire trip was about 4 hours long and we got to see several rooms with beautiful formations. Overall, we had an excellent experience and believe that this trip would be fun for all ages.

Caving with Danny! Awesome!
Jun 2019
We had a great day today exploring Worley's Cave with Danny! My 10 year old son & I really enjoyed our day exploring the cave - very fun & adventurous! Danny was very helpful & informative, ensuring that we were safe at all times & doing all the fun things that we wanted to do! My son did a crawl & climbed high & did slides at several points! It's been rainy this week so this was a perfect thing to do on a rainy day in June, but I bet it would be very refreshing in the summer when it gets super hot & humid as it is 55 degrees year 'round in the cave. Loved the waterfalls inside the cave, not sure if they are always there if not so rainy. It is very peaceful & relaxing in parts of the cave but also challenging & exciting as we explored the cave, especially when traversing over slippery wet areas! I wore my water shoes that I bought for white water rafting & they were perfect - they have treads & lots of grip for rocks, my son wore his Under Armor athletic shoes & he slid around a lot, so consider that when deciding what to wear for shoes! This would perfect for a family with older kids & teenagers. We had very enjoyable day & highly recommend Danny - she was wonderful!
