This is located downstairs on Main Street in Deadwood across from the Mineral Palace Hotel. It is a great way to have some fun watching the trains whiz around the tracks. The whole train set up looks like it could use a little TLC to...More

We finished watching a "Deadwood Alive" skit and saw the sign. Our group is full of train fans, so they leapt with joy and skipped down the stairs to check it out. Everyone said it was really cool & worth the stop.

My husband had a toy train and so we sought this out based on a tip from a waiter at the Social Club. It was adorable (my term) and detailed / expansive (husband’s term). Well worth a short stop and $1 to see and hear...More

I took my husband because he loves miniatures and close details. For one dollar, you can make the little trains run for ten minutes, which was the perfect amount of time for us to look and walk as far around as we could. There's also...More

The model train exhibit is in the basement of a store that sells clothing and t-shirts. It is an expansive diorama and the people who created it paid so much attention to detail creating a variety of scenes. It is free. For a dollar you...More

I was shocked at how large the basement area train was! And what detail! I enjoyed the little “can you find” signs... made things even more fun. Unfortunately the train wasn’t running... even if you pay the dollar.

We were out walking in town and saw a sign for this in the shop window. Went downstairs and was totally amazed by the model train layout this club has built, maintains and runs. Very, very nice!! Worth a visit for sure.
