Was really excited to stop in Deadwood to get the feel of an old west town, but was really disappointed. We arrived in Deadwood later in the day, around 5:30, and there was hardly anyone walking along Main Street. Every shop and restaurant had a...More

We enjoyed the show "Deadwood" so we were looking forward to visiting it on our 7,000 mile USA road trip. There are a lot of interesting things here so it is worth the time to explore.

Visited Deadwood a couple of times while in Sturgis for the rally. Historic and old and during Sturgis is a very busy place. Great for people watching.
