If you love history this is for you. My favorite part was the wagons and buggies in the basement. But it has lots of other interesting things to check out on your way through it. Well worth your time to see it.

This is a very well organized museum and sets forth the history of Deadwood in a chronological order. There is a lot of memorabilia and the downstairs is filled with period vehicles. Set aside about an hour for this attraction.

Was in deadwood and saw the museum and took a chance. A self tour and amazing history of the area and exhibits. Some area would only light up when you entered the area. So on the bottom floor could cause you to pause a second.

Lots of things to see. The downstairs is all wagons and vehicles through the transformation of the West. Nice section on rodeos.

This is a very well laid out museum and worth a detour to see. It centres around the Days of 76 parade which is held annually. Clearly this is a huge event for the local community and whilst of passing interest to the tourist it...More

This museum was very wheelchair accessible and was a very well organized museum. They had some interactive spots to take pictures and you could even dress up for the pictures. I highly recommend this museum!!!

I loved the historical exhibits, and collection of old vehicles. I could do without all the history of the Parade and celebration named Days of '76. Just show me the history from the period - not the modern parade to celebrate it. Great exhibits -...More
