Well done, small gallery.

If you are in the area and have 30-45 minutes to spare, this is worth a visit. The gallery is part of a university. It is free. The exhibit I saw was thoughtful and organized very nicely. I enjoyed my visit.

Wilkes-Barre 3rd Friday Events
Jun 2019 • Family
The Sordoni provided an excellent exhibit on Wilkes-Barre's 3rd Friday Art Block. The gallery welcomed vistors with food, drinks and helpful staff. The exhibit was filled with light and was given the space to accomcdate the works. The staff were friendly and service worthy of high marks. The gallery also allowed artist to display and perform outside the gallery during the event.

Andy Warhol: 15 Minutes: From Image to Icon
Feb 2018 • Friends
The Sordoni Art Gallery's first exhibit was "Andy Warhol: 15 Minutes: From Image to Icon" a great show of Warhol's popular works and some artifacts and Polaroids as well. It was an amazing exhibit and even a film was shown. The pieces were expertly curated and the docent was very helpful.

Solid Gone
Jun 2018 • Friends
We came to see the Solid Gone exhibit, part of the 8th International Conference on Contemporary Cast iron Art. This show will be there from June 2, 2018 to July 2, 2018. This is a show of contemporary cast iron art, each piece of which displays some aspect of being transient, ephemeral, or precarious. The show was thoughtfully curated, and includes both established and student artists from several countries. This exhibit is well worth seeing.
The gallery itself is a well-lit whit box gallery with high ceilings. It also includes a gathering area, lecture hall, kitchen, and restrooms. This would be an excellent place to hold an exhibit
