I too felt it to be an uncomfortable visit... but because the place is not well maintained and falling apart. Although the volunteer was a bit knowledgable about the names of the wolves, she was unprofessional telling stories that were probably intended to be confidential and not meant to be repeated. If the grounds and animals had been in better condition and the building housing the gift shop ready for public view... then I would reconsider my review... but this was not the case. Sadly, my $95 for the tour was going to do little good for the operation much less the animals.

I adopted two of the wolves for my Grandaughters for Christmas Spirit and Mika. We had been wanting to go for sometime - although we were on a waiting list we were able to go Sunday. Our guide Melinda was amazing - she was loving and kind interacting with the wolves - and very nice to my Grandaughters. Melinda answered our questions and the best part - She took us to see Spirit and Mika last so we could spend a little more time with them - and even they were so cooperative and ran down to see us . My Grandaughters ( 13 and 10 ) we so blessed. We will be going back - I am planning to go for the adult Full Moon visit -

The volunteers whom we met, at this sanctuary, are amazing. They cleared up myths and educated us with so many facts about these wonderful creatures. We witnessed much dedication and hard work in taking care of the wolves that reside there. The full moon event and puppy time event were bonuses! A special thanks and shout out to Dawn, Michelle, Nick, and Ed, (whom we met), and those who work behind the scenes. What a wonderful job you all are doing!

My toddlers were so excited to visit and then our first interaction was with our tour guide whos mask wasn't on despite having asked if everyone would be masked and being told yes. Then the tourguide relentlessly singled out a woman who clearly stated she did not want to be "pack leader" and made it very clear multiple times she wanted to be left alone. In addition the micro aggressions that were flying out of his mouth made me super uncomfortable. This tour is also not for toddlers and when I mentioned that I was told yeah we usually say age 7 and up but that is NOT indicated anywhere on the website. The poor wolves also looked so sad and depressed. Overall an uncomfortable and unpleasant experience.

Absolutely amazing Full Moon Tour. We got to see about 10 of the wolves and hear them be extremely active with their howls. Definitely looking forward to going back soon!
