We really enjoyed this activity (Premium Tour). The bus tour was our favorite part. We learned a lot about the Amish people thru our bus driver Karol.

Excellent experience just wish the bus ride and the house tour told us different information. They both told the same stuff other than that it was a lot of fun.

We took a tour with Tim from North Carolina. Tim was great and we all learned a lot. He happily answered all of our question. This was one of the best Amish tours that we have ever taken. We highly recommend!!

My husband and I are from the Philadelphia area and have never toured Amish Country although we have been to a Lancaster. Our bus tour guide was Debbie who had a lot of interesting information about the Amish way of life throughout the tour. Our stops along the way were a bonus where we purchased icecream, baked goods and souvenirs . The BBQ at the farm is a must, ribs and chicken were delicious. The Farmhouse tour was interesting inside the house and outside.

This was a wonderful experience. It was a great opportunity to learn about the Amish lifestyle and their practices. Our bus driver Debbie was wonderful
One of the stops was a shop with souvenirs, all kinds of baked treats and ice cream BUT the soft pretzel truck outside was the most delicious pretzel my husband and I had ever tasted. We tried the garlic & herb 😋

The bus tour and the house tour people were so amazing and informative. We learned so much and were encourage to ask questions. This company really wants to break down the barriers and help you to understand why, where, when and how these people live. What they can/can not do and why. Seeing the country side from the Amish's perceptive is so wonderful. Learning how they have adapted and live in society today and getting to talk and interact a little with some people is so nice. The farm is not much and a little touristy, but they have a covered bridge and lots of information around the farm.

Hello:
I see the premium tour is about 2hrs. Does anyone know how much time we should allot in addition to this? Thank you!

The house tour itself takes about 45 minutes. You'll also need time if you'd like to look around the farm. ( I didn't do this, so don't know how long it would take.)

How do i get there by public transport, from Lancaster Station?
When are the tours conducted?
Amish Farm and House
Lancaster, PA
Hi! All our tours depart from our farm (2395 Covered Bridge Drive) Here are 3 ways to get to our farm.
1. Schedule a pickup service with us! We will pick you up from the train station and drop you off again after your tour. Our pickup service must be reserved 24 hours in advance. Call the farm to schedule this service. (easiest and cheapest way)
2. Take an Uber or Taxi from the station. (This can be very costly)
3. You can also take the public bus. Bus #14 from the Queen Street station to Rockvale Square. (You must take a taxi/uber from the station to the bus station)

I am travelling from Philadelphia by train for the day in Lancaster and want to do an Amish guided tour. Are there any tours that do pickups or transfers from the train station?
Amish Farm and House
Lancaster, PA
Yes, we can arrange to pick you up for a small fee. Just attach a note to your reservation or call ahead to schedule it.

I don't see a schedule for the house tours on the website. Is there one?
Amish Farm and House
Lancaster, PA
Correct! You buy the ticket and we give you the tour time. However house tour times do follow a pattern. The first house tour of the day is 45 minutes after the opening hour. The last house tour of the day starts 15 minutes before we close. For example when our opening hours are 9-6pm, this would be the schedule of house tours: 9:45, 10:45, 11:45, 12:45, 1:45, 2:45, 3:45, 4:45, 5:45.

Unfortunately, I am not sure. I know there were people on my tour that didn't speak English however, there was no guide that spoke anything other than English.

Is it possible to do just a self guided farm tour without touring the house? If so, what is the price? I did not see it as an option on the website. Thanks!

The House Tour is more exciting than the Farm Tour. I would recommend doing the Premium Tour which includes a 90-minute bus tour, the house tour and the farm tour.
