This is such a unique and exciting place to visit. My son loved hopping around on rocks and moving around. Have good hiking boots and watch your step. It has all kinds of rocks in different shapes and sizes. There is plenty of parking and free entrance to the entire park. The kids enjoy it!…

We were not up to the 3.5 mile hike to the boulders. So we drove to the access road. It took about 20 minutes through the park but it was worth it to see and walk on the boulders.

Kids had a lot of fun building rock sculptures, exploring and climbing over the boulders. Need to wear good rubber shoes or sneakers - not Crocs. There is a lone, small tree in the middle that was fun for pictures. There is no shade even under the small tree there. Driving to the parking lot had signage but you need to pay attention because we missed a crucial sign. It is not long to walk from the parking lot - it is right there. Plan to go to Hawks Falls across the way. …
