I wrote an excellent review some time ago and I have a been a frequent visitor over the years BUT I have cause to amend my rating. Firstly, whilst the interior needs to be bomb-proof given its location and propensity to attract dirt from walkers...More

Really good place for all ages. Lots of activities, long walks nice cafe, plenty of paring. 👍🏼 Gruffalo trail helps children navigate a small map to find creatures.

The forest itself is lovely. Nice walks and play area. The £3 per head pack for the Highway Rat trail is a rip off. Don’t bother. Waste of money. Parking is expensive and bumped up prices feature when it’s the school holidays. £4 to park...More

We had such a lovely time here. Met friends so 4 adults, 3 kids ages 3,5 and 6. All 3 thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We found a gruffalo and also a painted stone which we then hid again. They had great fun on the little park...More

We come here quite often as a family of 4 and our dog. The forest itself is very well kept and looked after. Lovely play area for the children, and the cafe has lovely food and drink although is a little expensive.
