Beautiful location, grounds and facility. Museum is logically organized and tells the story of the Civil War in all of its aspects. Artifacts are an amazing collection. Worth spending a couple of hours here.

Excellent representation on the Civil War. Videos as you follow the war from display to display. Plenty of places to sit and rest throughout the tour. Recommended

The best place to start would be to contact the US Army Heritage & Education Center in Carlisle, PA and check one of their reference bibliographies on the 21st PA Calvary. I hope this helps!
