HUGE Frazetta Fan, so this place was like Mecca for me. HAD to visit, and was NOT disappointed! Great Tour, Amazing artwork, and awesome looking place! Got to meet Frank Jr, and was completely beside myself as to how down to Earth and modest Mr. Frazetta was! Can’t wait to go back!

My husband and I have appreciated Frazetta's stunning art for many years and we were thrilled and excited to find a museum only a few miles away from our new home. Our visit there was not only inspiring but his daughter, Lori, took the time to give us a wonderful tour and history of many of his magnificent, original pieces. A must for Frazetta fans!

On July 6, 2018, my husband and I visited the Frank Frazetta Museum in Stroudsburg, PA. The fantasy artwork is amazing. Bring your camera, photos are allowed but no flash. Frank Frazetta (February 9, 1928 – May 10, 2010) was a famous American fantasy and science fiction artist, noted for paperback book covers, comic book covers, paintings, posters, record album covers and so many other media. You may not know the name Frazetta, but you've seen his artwork. One well-known painting was Frazetta's 1964; painting of Beatle Ringo Starr for a Mad comic book cover. Mr. Frazetta’s interpretation of Conan redefined the genre of sword and sorcery, and had an enormous influence on many generations of artists, and movie makers. To name a few examples of Mr. Frazetta's work, the Narnia movie with the Ice Queen and her ice sleigh was inspired by Frank Frazetta's painting called “The Silver Warrior”, the Conan the Barbarian movies, and sketches of “The Lord of the Rings were inspired by Mr. Frazetta's work. We highly recommend a trip to this museum that is nestled in the Pocono Mountains in the small town called East Stroudsburg, PA. The museum is lovingly owned and run by Frank Frazetta, Jr., and his wife Lori. Both Frank, Jr. and Lori personally walked with us around the museum telling us stories about Frank’s dad’s work and life. If you love fantasy and science fiction you will love this place.
