We find food Tours the best way to see a city and this food tour of Portland is no exception! Our tour guide, Pat was fabulous. As we walked the city between eating spots she provided historical facts as well as interesting facts that only a local would be privy of. The food and drinks sampled at each of the five stops were delicious and surprisingly large. Come hungry and you will leave full! A definite must do!

Had a really great tour with Donna all around downtown Portland. A great way to explore Portland and taste a wide variety of of local foods. Good vegetarian options, plenty of food, and a nice mix of types. Our guide had great knowledge of Portland history and the background to each restaurant which added a lot to the experience.

Eat was a great adventure with Alexis. She was very friendly and knowledgeable and took us to a great selection of food carts. It's great to be able to sample the pods, neighborhoods, and carts to get a variety of foods. I especially enjoyed that Alexis picked things that we wouldn't have ordinarily chosen. Great time, will do it again!

We did the downtown food tour with Dylan. It ended up only being the two of us and we are excited to have incidentally ended with a private tour. Dylan was a great storyteller and told us tons of history about Portland. We are tons of amazing local food and left very full. I thought the tour was worth the money and I would definitely do it again. Highly recommend.

Our guide was very knowledgeable about Portland and Oregon history. He shared lots of information as we walked around downtown from one eating establishment to another. We enjoyed donuts, Vietnamese and middle eastern food, a grilled pork sandwich, and gourmet s’mores. No need for dinner after this tour.

Nice to have a smaller group of 6 people. Food was all on point - delicious - and a good variety. Portion size was good. Full at the end. Come hungry. I suggest wearing sneakers. The walking and fresh air was nice to me as an active person. Fun to learn PDX factoids. Great stories behind each dish that really enhance the experience. Found a new favorite - The Crown’s Imperial Pizza! Liked it so much I went back the 2 subsequent days to enjoy that unique pizza!

Thoroughly enjoyed the tour with Pat, the variety of the food from food trucks to gourmet. Very knowledgeable guide, learned alot about the city. And who would of thought fried chicken and pickles would be so good on pizza. Would definitely recommend this to for anyone who enjoys food.

Our tour guide, Pat, was awesome. She picked 5 places for us to sample different types of delicious food from the new Portland Food Hall’s Tecatas, Q’s, a food truck with with awesome Bao Bao, The Crown with an amazing pizza and cocktail and finally dessert at Ruby Jewel’s Scoops. All delicious food mixed with humor and history, Thank you Angie and Pat for an awesome day.

We love to eat, and we love the learn new things, so we thought The Best of Portland tour would be perfect for our one afternoon in Portland. It was advertised that along with six food and beverage stops, we would learn about the "culture, history, bridges and neighborhoods that define Portland." We were extremely disappointed. There was barely any commentary on the areas through which we drove and almost no history, culture, etc. When we asked a question, our driver replied that she would tell us later because the people in the back of the van would not be able to hear. (How about a microphone/headset we've seen other tour drivers use?) Our questions were not answered, so we spend the majority of the tour in the van looking out the window wondering. The food truck stop was great, but the other food/beverage stops were not extraordinary, and there were only five stops, not six as advertised. In our opinion, this was not an $84 experience, and left us with a "bad taste in our mouths" for the city of Portland. We've seen the glowing reviews on Trip Adviser - maybe we just caught our driver on a bad day.

I had so much fun on this food tour! We went from Timberline Lodge, to Hood River and ended the tour in Multnomah Falls. We went to several restaurants, a winery and a brewery. There was some time to do a little exploring on our own at most of the locations, which I liked. I had never been to Hood River before and getting to spend time in the town and eating at Nora's Table was really fun.

The drive was really gorgeous and the Eat Adventures van was really comfortable. Our guides were really laid back and knowledgeable about the food, locations and history if the areas we visited.

It's a little more expensive than some food tours in the Portland area, but you go to so many more places and get more food (or wine/beer haha) at all of them than you usually do with other tours. My friends and I had so much fun, sometime I want to go on the Cost Adventure tour and the Wines and Vines tour!

Hi Zoe! We're glad you enjoyed the tour, and checking out Hood River. It really is a cute town with a lot of great food, beer, and wine to indulge in. Thank you for posting your review, and be sure to let us know if you would like to experience the coastal version!
