In 1821 Arch Cape Carronade moved nearby the h Center and museum. They made a duplicate and kept the original safe. The canon is still there.

There was a lot of information about the canons on the beach. The first canon was buried in the sand. This canon broke free from of the USS Shark's when a shipwreck stranded at September 10, 1846.

Two more canons were found.
A third canon was found as well.

Another canon broke free.

It is interesting that the beach is named Canon Beach.

Worthwhile to see!
